Apr 15 31st Annual Cowboy & Cowgirl Poetry Night
Cowboy and Cowgirl Poetry Night will celebrate its 31st year in Red Bluff, Monday, April 15th, 6 pm. Western poets of all ages are invited to carry on the tradition by taking the mike and share their favorite songs and poems about the Western way of life in the form of traditional, modern or original poems and songs. The event, leading up to the Round Up will be held at the Tehama District Fairgrounds Auditorium, 650 Antelope Blvd, Red Bluff, CA, and is sponsored by the Tehama County Arts Council. Doors will open at 5:30 pm., and admission is free. Cowboy poetry originated with real cowboys sitting around the campfire telling stories of their experiences of the day, often in songs on their guitar, or as poems. Apr 26 SnoCone Social & Book Giveaway - Tehama County Celebrating Children Month
the Corning Chamber of Commerce is participating for the first time in the Tehama County "Celebrating Children" event. This event is sponsored by the Tehama County Department of Education and Early Learning Programs & Services and the LPC - Local Child Care Planning Council. The Chamber received a grant from these agencies to offer the community a, "Snow Cone Social & Book Giveaway" to participate in the celebration. It will be held on Friday, April 26 from 2:30 - 4PM at the Chamber office, 1110 Solano Street in downtown Corning. Books will be available for children of all ages and also in Spanish. Also, for the first time earlier that same day, the City of Corning will be participating as an additional location to Red Bluff's event, in Tehama County's "Children's Memorial Flag Raising" at 10AM at the City Hall Flagpole, at the corner of Solano & 3rd Streets, to commemorate a Day of Remembrance to recognize the tragedy of violence against children. The flag-raising event is co-sponsored by the City of Corning, Tehama County Social Services and Tehama County 4 Kids.

May 19 50th Anniversary Car Show in the Park
The 50th Annual CHVA Car Show in the Park at Red Bluff River Park will be held on Sunday May 19, 2024, 8am to 2pm. It's good old-fashioned fun for the classic car enthusiast. For $20 you can enter your car in one of 16 classes of cars from pre 1930's through 1975. Stock and modified cars are welcome. Trophies in every category. Visitors are free. Bring the entire family to this event and enjoy, cars, music, food and drinks, raffle prizes including a 50-50 prize, and a Henry Golden Boy Rifle. The live music is by Jimmy Limo. We are excited for this year’s Red Bluff Chamber Farmers’ Markets.

The Saturday Farmers’ Markets are now year-round on Pine Street “Market Downtown.”

October - April 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM


The Wednesday Farmers' Market Downtown” will take place on Washington Street (in front of the old Tehama County Courthouse) and a portion of Pine Street (between Jefferson & Main Streets), 5 - 8 PM beginning on June 6th through August 26th.
