Books will be available for children of all ages\, also in Spanish and new this year\, we will have a few in Braille. Tour the Corning Museum and choose your book BEFORE you get your snow cone on your way out! Also\, earlier that same day\, the City of Corning will be participating in Tehama County's "Childrens" Memorial Flag Raising" at 10AM at the City Hall Flagpole\, at the corner of Solano & 3rd Streets\, to commemorate a Day of Remembrance to recognize the tragedy of violence against children. The flag-raising event is co-sponsored by the City of Corning\, Tehama County Social Services and Tehama County 4 Kids.
