Exhibit: June 7- July 7: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 11 am – 5 pm Opening Reception: Friday, June 8, 5 -8 pm Art Demonstration by Jeff Fennel: Saturday, June 9, 1 pm The Main Event Gallery will feature Artists, Steve Ferchaud and Jeff Fennel. Accompanying their works will be art and photography by Gallery members. Meet the artists at the Main Event Gallery's reception, Friday, June 8, 5-8 pm, 710 Main Street, Red Bluff. Steve Ferchaud has been creating illustrations for several different projects, Including magazine and newspaper illustrations, book and magazine covers, and artwork for various labels and t-shirts. Known for his whimsical art, Ferchaud has illustrated over thirty-five books, including the Benjamin Franklin Award winning book, "The Carpenter’s Legacy." He also received The Golden Quill Award for best illustrations for, "The Man Who Spoke to Cats," and NCPA Award for best illustrations for, " Joshua and Bigfoot." He is currently writing and illustrating his book, "Gnome Poems." Jeff Fennel is an award winning illustrator and dedicated landscape painter exhibiting throughout California galleries and invitational painting events. A graduate of CSU Chico with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, and a background in Architecture, Jeff has worked with a variety of media, techniques and disciplines. He lends a new dimension to his art by creating some of his pieces on sheets of aluminum steel. Fennel has experience in the video game industry as a production artist, designer and Art Director.
