The Main Event Gallery, is opening 2022, featuring Gallery members' art, with the theme, "Art From The Heart, February 11- March 5. The artists' inspirations for their art will be to create what is close to their hearts. The exhibit will open Friday, February 11th with an artists' reception from 5:30 – 8pm, 710 Main Street, Red Bluff. The event is sponsored by the Tehama County Arts Council. For local art lovers, this will mark the beginning of the 6th year and celebration of the opening of the Main Event Gallery. In 2017, Ken and Melina Robison owners of the iconic Bank building built in 1925, showed their heart for the arts when they envisioned this space as a community art center and a place for local artists to exhibit their art. Three enthusiastic, experienced organizations stepped forward. The Tehama County Arts Council, Red Bluff Art Association and the Tehama County Photo Club pooled their knowledge and resources to formed a cooperative group of volunteers to organize and oversee what became the Main Event Gallery. Main Event Gallery is planning for an exciting year ahead featuring new artists works and some well-known favorites. CALL TO ARTISTS: The Tehama County Arts Council is issuing a special call to artists who have a large body of their artwork of at least 15 pieces, to be on call for exhibits at the Gallery. Artists may apply by emailing several images of their works to tcacarts@gmail.org for consideration.
