On behalf of the Cottonwood Community Library, a totally community-funded and volunteer-run library, I would like to ask if it would be possible for you to do some on-air mentions of our upcoming fundraising event. Known as “Book a Table”, this event is a dinner and auction being held to benefit the library. Because we are a totally community supported library, we must do all our own fundraising and solicitation of donations in order to be able to operate for the Cottonwood community at large. Therefore, making this event a sell-out and a success is crucial for us. We would appreciate any help and publicity you may be able to give us! The event will be held at the Gaia Hotel and Spa in Anderson on Saturday, March 28, 2020. Tickets are $55 per person which includes dinner and front row seats to a lively auction and many unique silent auction items. A no-host bar begins at 5:30pm, with dinner to follow at 6:30. Table sponsorships are available. Tickets for this event are available at the Cottonwood Community Library, Tri-Counties Bank in Cottonwood, and at The Bean coffee shop in Cottonwood in the Holiday Market Shopping Center. We depend on our fundraising revenue to be able to offer our children’s Storytime, Adult English language skill classes, computers, and our comprehensive collection of library materials for our patrons. Please help us get the word out so that we can maintain our position in the Cottonwood and surrounding area.
