Tehama County resident are invited to apply for a one-time grant, not to exceed $500, for the opportunity of enriching their community through the arts. The Grant Funds are provided by the California Arts Council with matching funds from the Tehama County Arts Council, who are dedicated to promoting and expanding the arts. Organizations and individuals are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to projects that impact the greatest number of community residents. The grant applications are due by July 15, 2024, and must be postmarked by that date. "Arts" as used in this application include, but are not limited to, visual, performing and written. Grants requested to benefit schools, religious groups or to benefit one's personal property or income will not be considered.
