HEY KIDS... Here's your chance to live your race car driver dreams! The City of Corning Recreation Department is unveiling the First Annual "#Corning500 Cardboard Car Foot Race," which will take place during the next Tuesday Night Market on May 2nd! It's FREE to PARTICIPATE! Times are subject to change, based on other activities, including the high school and youth Ballet Folklorico performances. Actual race location to be announced, will be adjacent to the Market. There will be three age groups: 2-4, 5-6 and 7-9. And a "Show 'n Shine" beforehand. PAL Mentoring will be helping with the race and serve as the "pit crew" to keep everyone on track. Corning PD will be flagging the race and handing out fun citations! Let your imagination run wild! You have 3 weeks to assemble your car . . . Have FUN & Good Luck . . . Zoom Zoom!! Restrooms will be available at the Rodgers Theatre AND City Hall.
