The City of Corning Recreation and the Corning Chamber of Commerce present the "School Spirit" Tuesday Night Market on September 1, from 5-8PM, Solano between 3rd & 6th Streets. The community is invited to learn more about all the wonderful educational programs and opportunities we have available. The Corning Union Elementary and High School Districts will be joining us, as well as, the Corning Adult School, Expect More Tehama, First 5 Tehama, Northern California Child Development (NCCDI), the Tehama Campus of Shasta College, and SERRF, the Safe Education and Recreation for Rural Families After School Program, Tehama County Dept of Education Early Learning Programs. We have several new vendors joining us, including, Farm-fresh summer veggies from Swager Farms in Gerber, USDA-processed frozen beef from Almond Grazed Proteins, Rico’s Aguas, Aguas con sabor a frutas caseras, aguas con gas. The Kids' Zone with a Bounce House sponsored by City of Corning Recreation Department, and staffed by NCCDI - Northern California Child Development. The Corning Museum will be open during the Market, 1110 Solano Street. Restrooms will be available at the Rodgers Theatre, Daisy's Ice Cream and City Hall.
