Cat lovers, show us your kitties! The Tehama Arts Gallery is celebrating wild and domestic felines in this art exhibit. The featured artist is Christine Hartmann, who calls herself the Cat Lady and often adopts abandoned and rescued cats. Come meet Christine and enjoy her paintings in which she beautifully captures the essence of her beloved feline friends. She loves cats because they are independent but loving. She says there is something about them that is free. They don't make themselves a captive to life. One of her favorite cats is an abandoned one that came to their home and kept looking in the window. He chose them and became a part of their family. The Artists' Reception is Friday, March 8, 5:30-8 pm, at the Tehama Arts Gallery, 328 Oak Street, Red Bluff. Gallery members will also add their felines to the exhibit in all forms of art. Exhibit Hours: Friday & Saturdays, 11 am-5 pm, through March 23.
